New WinVideo Reservation Module v2.00.026

New options:
1) The icons: available, DVD product, Blu-Ray, News, Top 100, Logout have been redesigned;
2) Added an extra button ( “More”) that allows the visitor to obtain more information about the title using tralers sites, images, etc..
3) The titles are now being shown in order of purchase (the most recent at the top) rather than in alphabetical order. The alphabetical order is maintained in the research.
4) Banner advertising (Google AdSense, etc.).
In addition:
In the “statistics” module (available only at a customer code combined with a card service) was added the list of products currently reserved (see discussion: http://forum.winvideo.net/index.php/topic, 1126.0.html).
How to obtain the version 2.00.026
If you have an earlier version of WvCGI at 2.00 please contact us at: team@winvideo.net.
If you have a 2.00.xxx version of WvCGI less (for example, 2.00.011) the update will be automatic.
Messages from members
Now members can communicate with the videostore using the icon “More” box that appears in the title of the film:
Pressing the button “More”, the user is redirected to this page:
Here you can fill in the fields related to the message to be sent to the videostore
Reading messages from members
To read the messages written by members, from WINVIDEO start screen press the “INFO” and wait for few seconds and then press the “Check Mail” tab:
On the line are shown:
The email (optional) specified by the member (clicking above will respond)
The member code code (if zero means that it is anonymous, or it was not recognized as a member logged in)
The date of email
The subject (always “Feedback from Web”)
The text, including the title of the film that had previously selected: it was considered to write the title if the member signs on to film something, but forgot to mention.
The button to cancel the email. Pressing this button you will delete the message without recovering.
Key features of “More”
This button redirects the member to the database WINVIDEO / VisualRent where you can find more informations about the title, including additional posters, descriptions, trailers, multimedia data, etc.. with extensive research over the web on specialized sites.
If you plain to rent videos on demand and/or allow downloading the movie via internet, a link will be given for payment of rent.
The service does not work on adult products.
